Every covered taxpayer needs a Permit to Issue before its first e-invoice, and the BIR takes up to 20 working days from complete documents to decide. Count back from December 31 and the last safe filing date lands around November 25. The permit names your system, and changing systems later means a new or amended permit. Choose before you file.

The mandate pays back — but only in the setup year
Under the CREATE MORE Act (RA 12066), implemented through RR 11-2025, the cost of setting up your electronic sales reporting system carries an additional tax deduction — 50% for medium and large taxpayers, 100% for micro and small. It is claimed once, in the taxable year the system is completed or final payment is made.
Deferred spend means a deferred deduction — one more reason not to let the filing window slip. This is an additional deduction against taxable income, not a cash grant; your accountant can confirm the exact figure for your taxpayer classification.
