BIR system registration, certification testing, and a Permit to Transmit run 6–10 weeks end-to-end — the timeline e-invoicing providers themselves publish. That makes October 21 the last safe date to start. After that, a compliant January 1 stops being possible.

The mandate pays back — but only in the setup year
Under the CREATE MORE Act (RA 12066), implemented through RR 11-2025, the cost of setting up your electronic sales reporting system carries an additional tax deduction — 50% for medium and large taxpayers, 100% for micro and small. It is claimed once, in the taxable year the system is completed or final payment is made.
Deferred spend means a deferred deduction — one more reason the October window matters. This is an additional deduction against taxable income, not a cash grant; your accountant can confirm the exact figure for your taxpayer classification.
